Based broadly on the model of the Kick-Off Meeting in September 2016, SLCTLS 2017 was planned, hosted, and executed jointly on Monday, September 11, 2017 by both the LCTL and Indigenous Languages Partnership and the University of Chicago’s Mellon Collaborative Partners grant. A total of 65 people from 34 different institutions/organizations attended SLCTLS 2017.
The SLCTLS 2017 agenda consisted of an update on both Mellon Projects as well as two panel discussions: one on research initiatives in shared instruction and the second on the role of educational technology in developing sustainable lesson materials.
